I totally understand, and I think models should get more. But it is not my fault they have two middlemen to provide a service. Because for them to get more, I need to pay a lot more. Let's say that a decent value for a model is $3 per minute, after fees and cuts. If the girl works for a studio on LiveJasmin, I would have to pay up to $20 per minute so she could get $3. That is insane. They should get rid of the studio and work from home.

Now, if you say that models need studios to work, then they can't complain that 50% goes to the studio. They are using the studio, and there is a fee for that. They can't expect to use something that they NEED and pay nothing for that.

Trust me, I hate studios as well. In fact, I've helped shut down two Studio 20's in Timisoara, Romania because the studio owner wasn't paying models correctly. The attractiveness of studios is a place away from home to work. That is the main reason so many models utilize them. It's because models can't work from home because they don't want family or neighbors to know what it is they do. On top of that, studios provide a decorated room, PC, camera, microphone and trainers.
