I'm new on camgirl sites, in LiveJasmin today I see they added this new kind of offer, you can convert elite points for credit, but I saw you must be at least sweetheart to do so, now i'm wondering if for example i'm sweetheart and i spend 100 credits, how many will I have back?  Is it a good offer?

TLDR: I will answer your question first because the full explanation is long and confusing. As Sweetheart, if you spend 100 credits, you get 150 points that may be converted to 6 free credits. But read below the section where I talk about the minimum amount of points. You need to have at least 250 points to be able to redeem them. You can't redeem to get only 1 free credit; you must have enough points to redeem at least 10 free credits.

This is the first time I have heard about CreditBack. So, I had to go "study" it. The email LiveJasmin sent to members went straight to spam. This email, the banner on the site, and the Club Elite page are the only places this new feature is mentioned. They spam Twitter every day with pictures of random models but can't make a single tweet about this.

I went to read about it on the Club Elite page. It is confusing as hell. I will try to be as clear as possible.

• When I say credits, I mean the credits you bought.
• When I say free credits, I mean the credits you got after you redeemed your points.
  

I will use Romeo as an example because that is the rank they use to answer a question in the F.A.Q. The table on the Club Elite page shows that Romeo members get 8% credit back. But then LiveJasmin says:

For example as a Romeo, 1 credit spent means 2 CreditBack Points.

Three things to take from this.

1. The most obvious. The member spent 1 credit, and got 2 CreditBack. That is not 8% of 1. Later, I figured out what those 8% mean.
2. They say CreditBack Points. You don't get free credits, but points, and one point does not equal one free credit.
3. You must spend the credits you bought to earn points. Buying credits (and not spending them) will not earn you points.

I went to check my current CreditBack Points. After some math, I can say that to get 1 free credit, I need 25 CreditBack Points. Please, keep in mind that I am using the information available on my account. It is not said anywhere that 25 points = 1 free credit. I got to this value by doing some math based on the total points I have and how many free credits LiveJasmin said I would get. Like I said, I had to go study this new feature. I had to do some "reverse-engineering" to figure out some things.

I am supposing that the amount of points to get 1 free credit is  this is the same for every member, regardless of rank. The member's rank only influences how the member gets those CreditBack Points.

So, using their example, if I were Romeo, I would need to spend 12.5 credits to be awarded 25 CreditBack Points and then be able to redeem that for 1 free credit.

That is where those 8% come from. Eight percent is related to free credits. By spending 1 credit, you are rewarded with enough points that represent 8% of 1 free credit.

• 1 free credit / 0.08 = 12.5 credits
• Or 12.5 credits * 0.08 = 1 free credit

I am trying to be as clear as possible, but LiveJasmin created a very confusing system by adding Points to the equation. They could have a more linear and clear system like the cashback that banks and credit card companies have, and show the CreditBack in free credits, not points.

Here is a table of how many credits you need to spend to get 1 free credit based on your Club Elite rank:

There are a few things that LiveJasmin mentions that people may miss:

Dropped below Sweetheart? Can't redeem points

If your rank drops below Sweetheart, your CreditBack Points will freeze, and you can only use them when you reach Sweetheart or above.

You need a minimum amount of points to redeem

You need at least 10 Credits worth of CreditBack Points to convert them.

Yes, their wording is confusing, and you need to do some math to figure out the minimum.

@jbravo asked how many free credits he would get if he spent 100 credits as Sweetheart. I said 6 free credits. Well, mathematically, that is correct. But technically, he gets zero. That is because he needs to have enough points to redeem for 10 free credits to be able to redeem the points.

So, when spending 100 credits, he would sit on 150 CreditBack Points, but he wouldn't be able to redeem those points because that would give him only 6 free credits. He would need to spend 66.66 credits more to add 100 points to his balance and convert the total of 250 points to 10 free credits.

Here is the minimum each rank needs to spend to reach 250 points:

You need to hold credits to redeem the points

Another criteria for redeeming points is that the member must still hold credits in his account in order to convert CreditBack Points into free credits.

You don't get points for the free credits you spend

LiveJasmin does not mention this anywhere. But seems to be evident that when you spend the free credits you redeemed, those will not give you any points.

After writing all this, I realized this could be good content for a blog post.

I don't consider it an offer. It is more like a bonus, or a gift. Actually, CreditBack is replacing the Elite Gift Box, which, in my opinion, was better.

If you are going to spend the credits anyway, it is great. You are getting free credits for spending credits that you were going to spend anyway. But if you think of spending credits only to get free credits, that is not a good deal.

As I mentioned above, as Sweetheart, you need to spend 166.66 credits to get 10 credits. In other words, the cost of 10 credits is roughly $160, or $16 per credit. That is way more expensive than if you buy 10 credits. But since you were planning on buying credits anyway, the bonus is always good.

I think the Elite Gift Box was better because I would often get 30%-45% bonuses on my purchases. If I would get the bonus, I would go for the highest package possible to use the bonus. This means I could get between 47 and 71 free credits on a $189 purchase (that is the value in USD, right? I use Euro, so I am not sure).

Now, I need to spend a lot more money to get free credits. The whole thing with ranks and discounts makes it hard to have a clear idea. But for example, I could get at least 47 free credits with the Elite Gift Box by buying 158 credits. Now, I need to buy between 470 and 783 credits to get those same 47 free credits.

If we put it in this perspective, the Gift Box was way better than the CreditBack.

There is only one thing the CreditBack is better. You get free credits that you can use on anything you want. The Gift Box would give you bonuses, free messages, peeks, free video calls... I got a bunch of free video calls but never used them. So, I could be gifted with something I would never use.

The problem with this Credit Back program is that it replaced their old system where you could get the chance at free tokens ( with purchase ) simply by clicking on your promotional offer each day ( or technically every few hours depending on your mask rank). While that program didn't always offer extra tokens ( anywhere from 30% to 60% or even 80% during holidays ) it was definitely better than this current Credit Back program. Unfortunately, I have a habit of deleting my Casanova and Eros masks, my current Lancelot mask did give me 15 free credits last Monday. Not something I would get excited about.

The old Promo system was 100% better for consumers.

The LJ Gift Box was by far a better way of getting free credits than the new Credit Back program. The email I received from LJ about Credit Back said most members were asking for it and preferred it over the Gift Box. I don't know whom they surveyed. Reading between the lines, it immediately seemed to me that LJ no longer wanted to give away as many free credits as they had been. So they devised this deliberately complicated system in order to get members to spend more money and get less in return. Credits still cost the same, but there's no chance of getting anywhere close to 30-60% extra credits as with the Gift Box system.

I agree with the rest. It's pretty bad compared to the old system. Right now, it's best to let your status go down to lover again. Although, they also made it worse there, but at least you get 10-20% bonus coins occasionally, maybe more, but so far 20% were my maximum after they introduced credit back. So right now, I'm actually considering leaving LJ for good, because at this point it's actually cheaper to hire a real girl at a brothel where I live.

Since I wrote that quick analysis two months ago, I have received 60 free credits. It is impossible to have an exact comparison because the gift boxes were random. However, considering my usual purchases, the gift boxes would give me at least 150 free credits.

I think we can all agree that LiveJasmin didn't ask for feedback from members. That is just some bullshit they came up with to justify introducing a much inferior system. The real goal for this creditback system is to reduce the amount of free credits LiveJasmin gives. Period.

I can say I am spending less now because there is no more gift box. Before I was buying credits more often only because I knew I had 1 hour to use the big bonus. Since the change I stopped buying that often. But there are people who buy a lot no matter what. LiveJasmin is counting on that. In the end LiveJasmin will continue making a lot of money.

But..... LiveJasmin is giving credits because they want. They are not forced to do it. Correct me if I am wrong. But aside from Flirt 4 Free, LiveJasmin is the only site that gives free credits. Even though the old system was better, you still can get free credits, which is nice.

I agree with everyone else. The new creditback points thing is worthless compared to the old system. I too am thinking of quiting LiveJasmine. Better yet would be to buy less in protest to force the old system to return.. Live jasmine always devised little hidden tricks to take your money. One time in private it was tipping automatically and I have video to prove it.  Did I accidentally hit a hidden automatic tip button? And how easily is it to accidentally touch a $100 or $1000 tip?  I did it twice.  They are trying to get everyone to activate SmartBuy so they can more easily keep your money.. Now if LiveJasmine wants to raise prices, they should just say so. Instead they lie and say they want to reward us. The only way now to come close to 1 credit for 1 dollar is to start a new account. I have received 30% from creating a new account with a Crush mask one time.  Thats the best we can hope for. If you move up to Lover, the best you can get is 10%. Don't ever move up to Sweetheart where its even less. So now I have to create all these numerous accounts and I wonder if that's what they really want.

I always thought the same. This is no doubt on purpose. I never clicked by mistake because I am careful, but I am often near to either tip by mistake or send the wrong amount. They should at least add a confirmation dialog for large tips. It just takes one whoops and you send $500 with no chance of reversing the transaction. If this was on any mainstream site, they wouldn't even try this fearing a lawsuit. Since it is a porn site, they know people won't come forward to sue them.

Also, the "send a real gift" option is a lie and scam. The girl won't get that gift delivered to her. You "buy" a $59 box of flowers, and she gets a % of that in cash, the other % goes to LiveJasmin. It gets even more interesting because LiveJasmin often sends flowers to girls and asks them to post pictures with the flowers on their profiles/stories so people think they got flowers from members. You can't buy any real gift. LiveJasmin is just scamming naive people who want to be nice and offer real flowers to the girl.

I never activated it. At first, I thought it was a good idea. But then I realized I could easily spend more than I'd want. I have a spending discipline. If I don't have more credits to continue in private, even if I have money to buy more credits, I just say goodbye and end it. So LiveJasmin/the girl, can only take the credits I bought. The smartbuy bypasses my discipline. It is an authorization for them to have full access to my credit card.

They know the site is an addiction to many members, and they exploit that as much as possible to take as much money as possible from members.

I am kind of doing this, but not in protest. It's just because there is no immediate incentive to buy more credits. The old system was almost pushing me to buy more credits because the gift box had an expiration. I would often buy credits even though I had plenty of credits already. Now I need to spend the credits to get free credits. The reward is lower, and it isn't shown on my face. I need to go to a specific page to see how many free credits I got.

I just spent over $400 and won back a measly 16 credits. I guess so much for my protest. But I believe as you do, that members will buy less with this new creditback offer.  With the gift box, I purchased way more credits than I actually needed because the offers were decent. I always looked forward to the gift box.  When I won free messages or whatever, I made a purchase to the max and tried my luck again.  And again the next day and every day and I especially looked forward to holiday specials. Now there is nothing to look forward to. The part that irks me the most is that they try to gaslight members by telling them they are rewarding us when we reach Sweetheart level. Did you ever read the descriptions of the different masks? Its about the stupidest thing I ever read.  The old system was apparently bringing in business for years. This new creditback system is so weak, I believe it will be a failure.

I did not realize that. I only see 1 special girl or I would quit Jasmin completely.  She told me the best way to send flowers is to purchase it online in her city, in this case Cali, and have it delivered to the studio. I do not know if that is against LiveJasmin rules. This girl is so afraid of violating any rule. Of course you need the address of the studio and this particular studio doesn't mind.  I sent her a present on her birthday to her studio and she was thrilled. She makes a good living because everything is cheap in Colombia even though both Jasmin and the studio take a huge percentage. I am happy she is making money but I have decided I will not longer purchase the credits that I have in the past.   I would never purchase a gift through Jasmine at those horrible prices.

LiveJasmin is okay with members knowing the studio contact because they know studios won't risk their whole business operation to get members to pay off-site. Only a poorly managed studio would jeopardize a profitable business for something stupid.

I know at least 2 Romanian studios were working in partnership with a local florist. You could use the florist site to buy flowers and select the model you wanted to send the flowers to. LiveJasmin was okay with that. But the last time I saw this was 3-4 years ago. I think they realized this was not the best way to take money from members. Maybe that was why LiveJasmin introduced the "real gift" option, to replace the florist. But you can "buy" other gifts like sex toys, jewelery... I just saw a girl with a box of flowers on her list that cost $1369.

I am certain the girls in Colombia receive the roses and items that are purchased through Livejasmin, there is just a cheaper way to send flowers by purchasing them locally.  I cannot speak for Romania.

It is not a wow thing, but I just realized you can earn free credits on free credits you spend. Say you get free credits, when you spend these credits, the system will give you CreditBack points. Of course, this won't give you free credits forever. After each iteration, you get fewer points until you don't get enough points to redeem for free credits anymore. Regardless, the new system is horrible.

It looks as if things have gotten even worse at LiveJasmine. New members no longer get 90%. The best I am able to get now with the gift box is 10% or 5 free messages and when you reach Sweetheart the creditback system is less than 5%.  It just keeps getting worse and they are trying to say they want to reward us?  The years of 40%, 50% and 90% are gone.  Yes the new system is horrible.

Are you saying that LiveJasmin was giving gift boxes with 90% free credits to new members? I'm just trying to clarify because it has been years since I created an account on LiveJasmin. But I remember them throwing a "secret" small package at new members if they dismissed the credit purchase window.

Was it that easy to create new accounts and get the 90% gift? If yes, then there is your answer. Certainly, other people were doing the same. LiveJasmin was probably bleeding money with this gift and decided to reduce it. It seems that you were at least reaching Sweetheart level, so you were spending more money on the site. But I am sure many people were dumping the accounts after spending the credits of the first purchase and creating new accounts all the time.

watcher82, it appears they brought back the 90% now for new members but I don't think it was ever easy.  My guess its based on IP address, plus email, credit card and name etc.   I opened a new account with a new email address just to see but it didn't work.  They said I will get 158 credits but immediately after I paid, the screen appeared to crash and I ended up with 15.8 credits!  I guess I was a bit naive to think it would work.  It might possibly work with a new IP address.  I don't know.  I have no idea. I was just looking for a way to get back what we lost and I noticed the promotion went away but now its back.

I could be wrong but I don't think 6% means you actually get 6% off or 6% free credits. Mycamgirl explains it above in the first post. Its a very complicated points system that appears to be meant to confuse members. Either way you can get 10% off from the gift box as long as you stay under Sweetheart level so you are winning nothing by advancing as they claim.  I actually got 30% once at the Crush level by trying every day. Sure I was spending more money on the old system advancing past Sweetheart but its just not true now when they say they are rewarding members at the Sweetheart level.

Yes it has become too expensive now.  I no longer spend what I used to because there is no reward for doing so. You actually get penalized because you lose the gift box at the Sweetheart level and above...

Yea some girls make great money with the vibrations/tips.

 I just won 20% from the gift box at the Crush mask level so I purchased extra credits. My advice would be to try the gift box every day or whenever its available, and ignore any offer for elite points because when you accumulate enough points to reach the Sweetheart level, you will be penalized with only 6% credit back and the gift box will no longer be an option. So for the best deal, you do not want to participate in the club elite program.  Its not a good offer. Never accept any special extra elite points offer from the gift box and stay away from the double points days as well.  I even received 30% once from Crush.. Gone are the 90% holiday specials unfortunately but 20% from Crush is a tad better than 6% from Sweetheart.

Wait, lower levels like Crush and Lover still get gift boxes?! That is just unfair and doesn't make sense at all. Someone who has spent quite a lot to reach at least the Sweetheart level gets fewer bonuses than a new member who has never paid a dime?

I get that they are trying to encourage new members to start spending and get them hooked on the 20% bonus from gift boxes. But then, they pull the plug. They know the site is like a drug to many people. LiveJasmin is effectively trying to get them addicted to the drug, and when it is too hard for them to stop, they remove the sweet deals, and members need to figure out how to afford their new addiction. On top of that, they have many models doing the love scam, some of them trained by LiveJasmin. That makes things even harder for some people to quit the site. Scummiest site ever.

What you say is true. Only the lower levels can get the daily gift boxes now but most of the prizes are worthless elite points that  move you up quicker to the Sweetheart level.

Livejasmin has a Spring campaign special offer at this time giving 50%, 60% and 70% bonus credits. I purchased credits and it is legit. I received 70% bonus credits. I wish now I had purchased to the max but I thought it was another trick.  My guess they discovered members do not buy as much under the elite points system. The system is still in place but not sure if the bonus points will be counted toward the creditback system.  It doesn't matter, this offer is good.

Ok, I found it. It appears in the bottom right corner of the video while in a chat room. It was offering me a 40% bonus.

Edit: No, I was wrong. That is not the bonus. What I saw was a discount on the useless flower gifts. I clicked on it to buy credits with the bonus, but it opened the "real" gift window to choose one. From what I see, it only gives discounts on flowers. So, there is no discount if the girl does not have flowers on her list. The 40% off appears in every room, no matter what.

The chance of getting a bonus convinced me to buy credits, but I canceled the purchase when I saw it was just a discount on stupid virtual gifts. I even knew what girl I was going to go private with, but I canceled the plans when I saw there was no bonus. That was a missed opportunity for the girl and the site to make money. This should send a strong message to LiveJasmin, but I doubt they see it or care about it.

No you will never see anything good on the club elite page lol. And as you discovered, the bottom right on the individual models page is for overpriced flowers. In the past, these good special offers would appear on the live cams page, where you see all the models in blocks. I saw it in place of the "creditback free credits, view deal" block with the treasure chest. Instead of seeing the treasure chest, I saw the Spring campaign special.  I received 70% extra credits. Hopefully they will do it again as it was legit but it can only be used one time. I do not know if it was available to all members. New members have their own bonus offers. I am NOT a new member. These specials will only last a day or two or until you use it, whichever comes first.

I also only see one girl. It is possible to have a relationship here but of course you will have to pay in the beginning until you can gain her trust. How much you spend depends upon what you think she is worth. Keep in mind this is her job and some of these girls are interesting people that deal with azzholes all day that expect her to squirt for 10 credits. My advice is to always be honest and if you are a half decent looking guy, anything is possible. If they have another special, I'm gonna jump on it. Until then I am not wasting money on the stupid elite points system.

I wonder if they offer this based on the member's purchase history. Like, if the member is new or doesn't spend much, they offer this to see if he will get used to the taste and buy more. If the member is already a big spender, they don't show it. I have a long history on the site and they may consider me a big spender, but I haven't spent much there in the last months.

NiceShepard, I only saw this special one time since the start of the lousy elite points creditback system. And I do not know if it was offered to everyone. It was called a Spring campaign special. I am hoping they do another for the Summer. In the past this was done about 5 times a year for holidays like Halloween or New Years. I think they even did it for Mothers Day or Womans Day maybe. In the past, it was offered to everybody. Lets hope they offer it again.

Wait a minute. You have a long history on this site and you never took advantage of the 90% extra seasonal specials?  What about the gift box or spin the wheel? What did you do, pay full price?

I always used the gift box when it was available. Many times I bought more credits even though I already had like hundreds of credits just because I had a 50-60% bonus to use. The wheel too. But these were very much visible anywhere on the site. The season promo I never used that much.

From what you say, the season promo only appears alongside online models, like on the front page. I very rarely go there. Every time I log in, I go right away to my favorites. My favorite list is my front page. I discover new models from time to time when I see the recommendations while in a chat room.
