Miss_Barbie on imlive definitely uses recorded videos. I wrote to ImLive support, but they did nothing.
They wont do anything, unless you spend money on her and make a charge back, otherwise, you are just a freeloader complaining
I reported the same issue to them, guess one have to see if they are serious or not.
What camlover said. ImLive and Streamate, both have tons of accounts using recordings. If you report, they will refund you. If you don't, they will charge you. But they will never close the fraudulent accounts.
Don't report to ImLive, report to your credit card company. Ask for a charge back and tell that the service you paid for is a rip-off. Too many charge backs and the billing company will force them to act or they lose the ability to process purchases.
Yeah, Streamate never does anything about these scammers. They say they'll look into it but months later the same accounts are still in use.
The idea of reporting to credit card company is good but hard to accomplish. It needs way too many complaints. People have to actually contact their banks or credit card issuers and explain that they bought credits on an adult site to have a live chat with a woman... Not many are comfortable having this kind of conversation. That's why these sites are not worried about losing billing or being sued over these kind of things.
Then, even if the billing company terminates the contract, the site just moves to another billing, or already has a second billing option ready to process purchases.
About Streamate, some people have said that if you complain about a scam account, they refund you and say that the account is suspended. But the account is simply hidden from you so you think they banned the scammer.

Cams.com - Too easy to create an account and put a loop video. Many Philippines studios do that with videos they record from other girls. The site takes forever to ban these accounts.
ImLive - As long as the girl in the video is the girl that created the account, they will not only allow it to use bots and loop videos but they will also protect these accounts. They refund you if you complain, but they never ban any account.
Streamate - They kind of control the operation through deals with porn studios that have tons of videos produced specially for bot chats. These accounts are protected. They refund you if you complain, but they never ban any account.
And then, there are those sites that ban any fake account.
Jasmin - They police the rooms so it can meet certain criteria. One of the criteria is to be live on cam. Scammers don't have a chance there.
MyFreeCams - It takes only 1 complaint for them to look into the account. If it is running a bot or a loop video, it is banned.
Chaturbate - Members can easily report recordings, and them they ban the account right away.
