Why does a model have variations in her Camscore Rank if she has no activity or transmissions

I have a query about the data that this page generates, specifically on the “Camscore Rank” numbers. It turns out that I have seen that some models and one in particular, are without activity, without transmissions for weeks (more than a month), I could even say that they have not received tokens during all that time (I say this because almost all the multimedia repertoire of this specific model, has it associated with a “goals”, ie, reach a certain amount of tokens for a goal, call it a vacation, any product or a need of the moment, etc., and has not had changes in the percentage of that collection). But it turns out that her “Camscore Rank” has been changing, sometimes this number goes down or up. For example, the model I follow or was following, I tracked her and a few days ago she had a “Camscore Rank” of 3556, then it changed to 3578, 3594, 3570, 3561, 3563.... and now as I am writing this query, she is at 3536. Why these changes? Because I say again, that this camgirl, has had no activity or transmissions for over a month now, I would even say she retired from mfc. But this “Camscore Rank” changes every day.

From and thank you very much for your reply.

As a bonus, the “CamScore” in his profile is 1122 and there have been no variations either, it remains intact. And finally, he has no Share Rank from mfcshare, at least this month.
Another extra piece of information, if I compare it to another person who's last transmission is about three months ago, she has no data today.

  • It would help if you could say their nicknames. I couldn't find any model with a camscore of 1122; the only model I found with 3536 is ItsEvie, and she was online 3 days ago. If you don't want to mention the models in this discussion, email me so I can check.

But this "Camscore Rank" changes every day.
If you meant the rank, then it is working as intended. The rank can change even if the camscore remains the same.
If you meant the actual camscore, it shouldn't happen if the model hasn't been online in over a month. Although her camscore may change on MyFreeCams, the bot will only see that if the model is online. So, if she is not online, MyCamgirl can't see any variations in her camscore. Without knowing who these models are, I can't dig into this and give you a better answer.

another person who's last transmission is about three months ago, she has no data today.
No data on camscore rank? That is because that rank only takes into account models that have been online in the past 60 days. It is to align with how MyFreeCams calculates camscores. The formula used by MFC to calculate camscores does not consider models that were not online in the past 60 days.
If you meant on the graph report, then it is a bug. The graph shows the activity/changes in the past 6 months. If she was online 3 months ago, it should show there. That being said, you can select a different time frame and see everything. But again, without knowing the model, I can't say what the problem is.

Hello, thank you for the response you have given me.

I am a new member to MFC so I don't know much about your site, other than the new models I have seen.

I'll tell you, one thing that catches my attention is in her “follows”, she has been raising that number except for the last few days (this data is from mfcshare).
Today she also changed her “Camscore Rank” it varied between 3540, 3534 and now it is at 3525.

At one point I thought Myfreecams has a hidden streaming option for certain members, but I don't know. As I wrote in my query, she hasn't had streaming in over a month, so I find it odd that that number (Camscore Rank) changes every day.

The model in particular is her: (sorry for not giving her name directly)

Thanks again for the prompt response.

  • Ah, ok, I can see what the deal is here.
Let's start with the camscore of 1122.700. That is what you see on the graph. It is 1122.700, not 1122.000, and you will understand the difference soon. The bot collects data on camscores multiple times per day. The bot will catch the change as long as the model is online and her camscore changes. If the camscore changes while the model is offline, the bot won't catch it. So, the model may have multiple values for her camscore in one day. However, the graph always groups data by day.
The model in question had 3 values for her camscore on February 8, which means that her camscore changed at least 3 times on the last day she was online.
    • 1186.400
    • 1086.100
    • 1095.600
The graph groups these values by day and shows the average: 1122.700.
But that is not her current camscore. It just happens to be very close to her camscore. The average on that day is 1122.700, but her MyFreeCams profile shows 1122. It is a difference of 0.700.
Now, about the "Camscore Rank", which is where you see 1095.600. The rank calculation takes into account the last known camscore. That is why it shows 1095.600. The model is removed from the rank if she is offline for more than 60 days. So, in about 2 weeks, if this model does not get online again, the camscore rank on her page will be empty, saying "Camscore not ranked".
The last known value (1095.600) for her camscore differs from the value on her MyFreeCams profile (1122) because her camscore changed while she was offline.
There used to be a bot that routinely checked for camscores on offline models. But I shut it down because it became pointless after many models started hiding their cam scores. That is why her camscore on MyCamgirl does not match her camscore on MyFreeCams.
Let me know if this clarifies your questions.

Thank you, thank you very much for the answer you have given me and sorry for answering you in more than a month, but I had several personal problems and an accident in between and I am just now with free time.

My main question was about the “Camscore Rank”, why there were variations or changes in that number if the model was not transmitting. I thought it was, or I think it is, the number with the hashtag (#), but in your answer you give me to understand that it is the number that is under “Camscore”, do you understand? If I go to this example of this model https://tinyurl.com/45kmjukc she has the “Camscore Rank” at #794 and her “Camscore” is 3,415.9 at the time of writing this.

So from my initial understanding and going back to the original query, why is there or were there changes in that numbering and what was it due to? Maybe you already gave me the answer and I was not able to understand it.

    thank you for your answer.

  • I don't know if you understood my answer or not. I will try to clarify the part that seems unclear to you.
The Camscore (the number of points the model has) on the "Camscore Rank" is not updated if the model does not come online. But you need to understand that on MyFreeCams, they constantly recalculate camscores, whether the girl comes online or not. It is just MyCamgirl that does not update camscores of offline models.
The Rank (#) on the "Camscore Rank" may change even if the camscore does not change. That is because the rank takes into account the camscores of other models.
  • Thank you very much for answering the questions I asked, it is clear to me with the answers you give me.
As I said in the beginning, I thought it was strange that the “Camscore Rank” changed when she was not having transmissions, especially because there were changes in that number that went up and down daily.
    Thanks again for your answers.
